September 16, 2026, Dongguan Mingchuang Technology announced that the production line of its new-generation high-current premium Type-C connectors has completed full mass-production upgrade. The upgraded products focus on solving technical bottlenecks in simultaneous high-speed signal transmission and high-power supply. Supporting high-rate data transmission and continuous high-current output, they are widely used in laptops, portable monitors, industrial control equipment and consumer electronic peripherals.
As end devices become more integrated, the market requires connectors to combine high-speed transmission, high-power charging and miniaturization. Conventional solutions often suffer from signal attenuation, excessive temperature rise and unstable contact after long-term use. Mingchuang’s R&D team optimized terminal structure, gold plating process and internal impedance matching. While ensuring signal integrity, the product achieves better current-carrying capacity and temperature resistance. It passed rigorous reliability tests including tens of thousands of insertion-extraction cycles, high-low temperature cycling and salt spray aging.
On the production side, the company upgraded automatic assembly and online inspection equipment, adding multiple full-inspection processes to realize real-time tracking of key parameters, improving yield and supporting stable delivery of bulk orders. The upgraded Type-C connectors have been sampled to many leading end customers, with some projects already in mass supply.
