TYPE C 16-pin female connector, last two pins on the board, SMT L=7.35 5A third mock examination

This product is a TYPE C female base 16PIN specification, which adopts the design of two rear pins on the board, adapts to the SMT patch process, and its length is precisely controlled to 7.35mm. Relying on the the third mock examination process of three injection molding, it improves the structural strength, supports 5A high current transmission, and is compatible with the USB PD fast charging protocol. Compact size suitable for lightweight devices, widely used in scenarios such as mobile power banks, car chargers, smart devices, etc., with both high-speed data transmission and stable power supply capabilities.

    1. Installation specifications
When SMT mounting, the welding temperature should be controlled at 260 ℃± 5 ℃, and the welding time should be ≤ 3 seconds to avoid deformation of the plastic base caused by high temperature. Before welding, it is necessary to clean the PCB board pads, remove the oxide layer and oil stains, ensure that the pins are completely attached to the pads, and prevent unstable current caused by virtual soldering. Avoid plugging and unplugging within 24 hours after installation, and wait for the solder to fully solidify to improve connection reliability.
    2. Usage restrictions
It is strictly prohibited to use beyond the rated current of 5A. Long term overload can cause contact heating and oxidation, shortening the service life. Avoid using in humid environments (relative humidity>85%) or corrosive gas environments. It is recommended to use waterproof enclosures for outdoor equipment. When inserting or unplugging, force should be applied horizontally, and it is forbidden to tilt or pull the male head to prevent pin breakage or contact displacement of the plug-in board.
    3. Storage conditions
The product should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, with an ambient temperature controlled between -10 ℃ and 40 ℃, a relative humidity of ≤ 60%, and kept away from direct sunlight and organic solvents. Unused products should be kept sealed in their original packaging, and welding should be completed within 48 hours after opening to avoid pin oxidation affecting conductivity.
    4. Maintenance tips
Regularly clean the surface stains of the contacts with a dry cotton swab, and prohibit the use of corrosive cleaning agents such as alcohol. If there is poor contact, it is necessary to check whether the contacts are oxidized or the pins are loose. Non professionals are prohibited from disassembling on their own. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer to replace the components.
