TYPE C female seat 6PIN board with rear two pin plug board SMT L=5.0 short body exposed tongue stainless steel 304 is a highly reliable connector designed for compact spaces. It adopts a mixed installation process of on board rear two pin plug board and SMT, with an overall length of only 5.0mm. The exposed tongue terminal design is easy to align for blind insertion, and the stainless steel 304 outer shell has a corrosion resistance of 72 hours without rust after salt spray testing. The 6PIN layout supports USB 2.0 data transmission (480Mbps) and 5V/3A fast charging. Suitable for scenarios such as smart wearable devices, mini chargers, medical sensors, etc. that require high volume and durability, compatible with automated production line welding processes.

    Industry certification

    USB-IF certification: Complies with USB 2.0 specifications, supports 480Mbps data transfer and USB PD 3.0 fast charging (requires protocol chip), and has passed TID pre certification.

    Environmental testing:

    Salt spray test: In a 5% concentration salt spray environment for 72 hours, there is no corrosion on the shell and terminals.

    Humidity test: Store in a 95% RH environment for 48 hours, with an insulation resistance of ≥ 500M Ω.

    Mechanical testing:

    Plug and unplug lifespan: Contact resistance ≤ 40m Ω after 10000 cycles, with no deformation of exposed tongue.

    Anti impact test: Normal function after 1000g acceleration impact (half sine wave, 11ms).

    Installation specifications

    Welding parameters: reflow soldering temperature for SMT part is 250 ± 5 ℃ (preheating 150-200 ℃, 90-120 seconds), and wave soldering temperature for plug-in part is 260 ± 5 ℃ (soldering time 3-5 seconds).

    PCB design:

    SMT pad width ≥ 0.6mm, plug hole diameter 0.8 ± 0.05mm.

    Suggest designing ≥ 15mm ² copper cladding at the grounding pin of the casing to enhance EMI shielding effectiveness.

    Positioning requirements: Use fixtures to ensure that the female seat is installed vertically, with a deviation of ≤ 0.1mm at the exposed tongue end, to avoid jamming when inserting the male head.

    Usage environment

    Temperature/Humidity: Operating temperature -40 ℃ to 85 ℃, storage temperature -50 ℃ to 90 ℃, humidity ≤ 85% RH (no condensation).

    Taboo scenarios: Avoid contact with highly corrosive liquids such as alcohol and gasoline, as well as environments with dust concentrations greater than 100mg/m ³.

    Maintenance suggestions

    Regular cleaning: Wipe the exposed tongue terminals with an anhydrous alcohol cotton swab every six months to remove oxides and dust. It is forbidden to use metal tools to scrape the coating.

    Long term storage: Sealed and stored in a dry environment (humidity ≤ 60%), it is recommended to use anti-static bags for packaging, with a storage period of ≤ 2 years.

    Compatibility notes 

    Equipment matching: It needs to be compatible with TYPE C male connectors that comply with the USB-IF standard (such as USB2.0 Type A or Type C male connectors), as non-standard interfaces may cause poor contact.

    Cable selection: It is recommended to use AWG28 or higher specification cables for data transmission. For fast charging scenarios, it is necessary to use cables with a 5A load-bearing capacity.
